Time is flying….

Sometimes I wish I could catch time while it is flying and hold it still.

Princess T is now 6 yrs old in grade one. She really is becoming so independent now. Her big brother Y is 9 and half years old and will be turning 10 in April. He is in grade four. For those whose kids are already teens don’t think that I am crazy when I say it kind of scares me that he will be out of the single digit numbers. Of course he is very independent. He can do everything for himself now. He goes out to his friends houses on a street alone and walks home his little sister from school daily. I’ve never really felt age that much until this year. I guess that as the children grow one really begins to question things about their life.

I keep wondering about things like… maybe it’s time for a career change now that the kids are getting older. Then when I think about the practical side of things they really are young enough to still need me around.

Well I just wondered if any other mom feels time as their children grow older like I have been.

Mine are only 22 and 6 months old and I already think they are just growing up way too fast!

Wow, I am sure that they are keeping you busy at that age. Take lots of pictures and treasure every moment at that adorable age as it really does fly by.

Oh,yes, all of the time. I was never a sentimental type of person but when I took my daughter to kindergarten for the first time this year I choked up. Mine are 5, 3 and 17 months and I can’t believe how fast they grow up. I’ll turn around and they will be going off to college!

Wow I am sure that you have your hands quite full with three young ones but I am sure you are loving it. I can identify with you, for some reason I was more choked up when my daughter started kindergarten then when she started grade one this year.

You are right! We really do have to cherish every moment we have with them. as they grow older we have to choose different kinds of family activities to do together. We certainly can still have a lot of family time together.

Enjoy every minute of your little one.
