Wonderfully busy..
This month of October is always one of my favourite months of the year and here’s why…
First, although it is the fall already, we really have had some fantastic warm days to enjoy and of course be outdoors a lot. (Which we have to appreciate before
In the beginning of October was my birthday. Yes, I celebrated my 36th birthday this year. I am the last one in my family to enjoy a birthday. My hubby’s was in March, My son’s in April and my daughter’s was in July.
So now it was my turn. The four of us went out for a delicious supper and my hubby really spoiled me lots, including by cooking, cleaning and washing up dishes for me.
This last weekend, was
Another thing that I love about October is that the leaves change colours on all the trees and it looks absolutely spectacular.
It’s hard to believe that it is already the middle of October and next of course we have my children’s most favourite celebration at the end of the month, Halloween.
So, October is always a busy month but for wonderful things and that ‘s why I love October so much.

Hey hey! Happy Belated Birthday!
Thank you so much Angeline!
Also another belated happy birthday to you! My daughter is seven on sunday and has already planned a day out at the aquarium. Normally we are out and about even in October but this year the weather has been so bad we have had to choose an indoor activity. Never mind!
Thank you. I also have a 7 year old daughter, it’s a wonderful age, I have a 10 year old son too, it’s also an awesome age.

How to start a daycare
Life is awesome. I personally have no children, nor would I want any at the tender age of 21. Perhaps one day I’ll have some, and then I’ll be able to enjoy their lives like I enjoyed mine at that age. 10 was great, so much fun to be had… now work, work, work, and it never stops. Cheers.
I am aure one day when the time is right, your children will mean the world to you, just like mine do to me!
Hi, have been a regular visitor here, but leaving comment for the first time.
October is a favorite month for me too, cos its a precursor to festivities lying ahead, with a hint of winter nip in the air and shorter days. Indian festivals usually mean dressing up and making sweets at home. Lets see how much I can manage with an energetic 3-yr old, whose school has been asked to open after Nov 1 on account of swine flu fears!!
Thank you for visiting my blog! good luck with all the preparations. i often wonder if the media has over killed swine flu.
Hi, it’s a wonderful blog on childcare. I would like to say lots of thanks to blog owner.
Thanks!
Thanks a lot for great daycare information.
When traveling with children it is a good idea to have them wear a child safety identification bracelet. Please visit www.idmyparents.com to have your children travel more safely.

Very interesting discussions. You’re kid’s school might need our services. We provides complete playground products and related services.
Yeah, Canada’s winters are not something to look forward to, although here in Vancouver the winters are mild.

I love October! But the Winters where I am are not neaarly as cold so maybe that’s why! I mightn’t feel the same if I lived in Canada!
I live in Florida, and October here is still hot. I love florida, but sometimes I wish there are 4 seasons like in Canada.
Child Care
We have similar conditions here in the UK to you in Canada, but not as cold i should imagine! But yes we have been having some nice weather recently also and this is great opportunity for the children to play outdoors which is very important for them.
I love October too because my birthday also falls on October. Besides, October also reminds me about “National Breast Cancer Awareness Month”. As women, we shall always has the awareness on breast cancer.
Not sure if you have schemes such as this in Canada, but childcare voucher schemes in the UK such as that from Co-operative Employee Benefits can make great tax free savings for most parents.
October is a wonderful month here in Northern California! It’s usually still pretty warm but you can still feel the nip of cooler weather to come in the mornings and evenings. Plus the kids are psyched for Halloween!
cool
A new book on childcare is out…but this time it is all about one woman’s true story from a young girl in fostercare to a director of a childcare center. Great summer reading! http://www.amazon.com/Childcare-Revealed-Peggy-Steward/dp/0615423469
for me is a bust Oct as well…
If you are busy with your children, i can advice you to do what i did, hire an Au Pair. They are very helpful and will save you lots of time. I was using services of this agency- www.youraupair.ie and they were very good. Hope it will help all busy mother’s
Yes, I do agree with Ruth on this that there comes a time in everyone’s life where he or she can think about taking external help from a useful resource so that child can get proper care as if you think that you are not able to give your children the time that they need from you, then you should hire either a nanny or Au pair.
Happy Belated Birthday! completely agree with all of them~
Very interesting discussions. Excellent information

It would be great to have kids in the family. spending birthdays and other events with them would also be great. parents should always spend quality time for their children even how busy they are, so kids will have time for their questions and parents will really interact with their children.
Happy Birthday !!
Happy Birthday
Happy belated Birthday! Great blog post
Would definitely trade in this Australian summer heatwave for a Canadian fall about now.
happy belated birthday!
Your website is inspiring me much about children care. I also have 3 years old daughter and I always think that involving them in our daily activity or trip is an awesome thing. Keep sharing.
I have to admit I’m jealous of the beautiful autumns you must get in Canada. Living in a much more temperate climate it’s something I don’t get to experience. You can keep the winters though!
